Marcus: Just returned from tonight´s gig in Frankfurt. It was crap: Chris still seems to not
have recovered his voice fully. He was improvising horrible, sang wrong tones and really
ruined the beauty of the songs. I hope he gets better soon, their fans deserve a better
live-performance than this one tonight.
Moreover they all seemed weary and uninspired, playing just another gig.
I still can´t understand how someone so gifted delivered such a bad live performance...
The light-show was nice though. :-)

I don't think it was horrible at all. I admit he sounded a lil coarse
at the beginning, but it improved during the show. And I think the whole
show was just amazing.

i think the show was great. ok i admit that he didn't sing with such a
beauty i expected but it was good anyway. the piano playing was fine too.
the only thing i didn't like was that feeder (who played before coldplay)
were too loud! it was terrible. coldplay was loud too but not too loud.
maybe because the songs itself are not loud (like sciendtist etc)

also disappointed by the gig in frankfurt, but not because the band was
bad, but because of the audience. even when chris cheered the crowd on
to sing along, they didn't do it. that's really lame!!!!
back in november, i saw the gig in cologne and it was way better than
the one yesterday.
the only good thing was that feeder made the opening!! this band will
be one of the big indie bands in the future. i just love them!!!

PS: another sad thing about the gig yesterday is that chris didn't play

fi-fighter: i went last night
too, and it was my first concert. i thought it was amazing, my friend
said it was one of the best concerts shes ever been to. i was so happy
that they played amsterdam. i wasnt too impressed by the crowd especially
during feeder, but towards the end they started to wake up a bit....did
anyone take pictures? my camera was confiscated...
god if ur saying they sounded off tonight, i cant wait till they come
back and i can see them when theyre on top form...they must be absolutely
mind blowing!
